I need help naming my future bichon frise?

I'm asking my family for bichon frise for my birthday, and I think they might get me one. But I don't know what to name one. I think my mom would perfer getting a female dog but a few male names would be helpful too. I want a cute name but not one too girly, plus I want a somewhat original name. I don't want a name that everyone names there dog.

I understand your request for originality in a name. In addition to that, the anticipation of a new puppy. I think you should wait to see your new "baby" and name her based on your first impression of him/her. If you are still stuck w/o a name then post a picture and maybe you will get some good suggestions. Good Luck.

Reply:I used to own one of these wonderful dogs, i had a male. He was very smart and a real character. His name was casper mostly because of his extremely white coat.

Reply:My aunt has two. Their names are Maggie and Cady (like Katie). She also had three that passed name Ferdinand (boy), Chelsea and Dee Dee. I have a friend that has two. Their names are Maggie and Libby. I personally like Libby the best. :-)
