How do you figure out their names? What are those numbers related to their names?
Please help me Naming for the following compounds that contain polyatomic ions?
Potassium Dichromate
Potassium Chlorite
Lead (II) Nitrate
These are all ionic compounds, so its just the Name of the Metal + the Name of the Polyatomic Ion.
You just need to memorize the polyatomic ions.
