Is it hypocritical for Libs to elect Hussein Obama then criticize someone for naming their kid Adolf Hitler?

How so? in 1960 when Obama was born, Saddam Hussein was not in power, he was not a dictator. His mother and father couldn't predict the future.





Furthermore, Hussein is a common name in the Middle-Eastern/Muslim world. In fact, during the first gulf war, King Hussein of Jordan helped the US fight Saddam.





Adolf Hitler is not a common name, in fact, it is reviled. It is a name that will forever be associated with a Mass-Murderer. These people knew this when they named their child that. Their child, who is now only three, has no idea what his name means. How do you think he will feel when he gets to grade school, and starts to learn what is namesake is? When other children call him a Nazi because his ignoramus parents named him after one of history's most despicable people? They've set their child up for a lifetime of abuse.





I live in the same county as the Campbell's. I've seen the father around before. I've never spoken to him, but I know he is an ***hole. Want to know why? Because he is a Neo-Nazi. He has Nazi Tattoos and a Nazi emblem on his car. He is proud of what Hilter and the Nazi's did, and flaunts it.





I wouldn't write Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler on a cake for them either. I'd tell them to bake their own cake and put all the Nazi ephemera they want on it, I don't want your money.

No. Obama was bron, and named, before Saddam's rise to power in 1968. Additionally, Hussein is a traditional Semitic name and also the name of his grandfather. It is also the name of the kingof Jordan, one of our longtime allies. Should we cut our ties with Jordan because of his name?


By the way, since Obama is Cheney's cousin, that means Cheney has relatives named Hussein too! (By marriage, I admit.)

The most common boy's first name on earth is Mohammad. The most common middle name is Hussein. As Mr Obama himself jokes, he was named by someone who never figured he'd run for President.





On the other hand, hanging the Hitler name on some poor kid -- and Aryan Nation on one of his poor siblings -- and decorating a birthday cake with swastikas is just about as low as someone can go. It's typical of the racist skinhead mentality though. The parents are sick @$$holes IMHO and don't deserve the company of their children.
