Naming a character from a religious family?

I'm writing a story and one of the characters comes from a very religious family. The upbringing is very strict and the parents very conservative.

Her parents are named Matthew and Elizabeth. Her siblings are Noah, Mary, Dorothy, Aaron, Jacob and Samuel (deceased). You can also criticize these choices.

Their last name is Everly.

So, any suggestions?

I need a name religious, conservative parents would give to their first daughter, yet it should also be pretty and not boring.

She used to be called Angie (Angela) but I just didn't connect with the name at all.

Bethany, Hannah, Grace, Joy, Charity and Eden, Faith, Ruth, Esther, Agnes.
Reply:Christian religious folk tend to give their children names from the Bible as you are aware.Of course many Biblical names are in such common usage that they don't really identify the bearer as from a religious family. If you want a name that only a biblically literate family would think of you might want to consider Huldah, Thirza Jerusha or Orpah. (Oprah's doctor spelled it wrong. ) One of my friends named his daughter Abiah ( Ah Buy Yuh) even though as I recall it was a male name in the Bible. My personal favorite is Jael. Nobody with any sense is going to mess with a girl named Jael. Of course if they are really religious to the point that they don't recognize dumb when they see it they could inflict their child with the absurdly popular Nevaeh (heaven spelled backword.) Of course if they are going to do that they should probably just go all out and name her god spelled backwards, Dog.
