What do you think of people naming their dogs?

after expensive brands or people names, etc?

What do you think of people naming their dogs?
Dogs don't really care what their names are. What might seem utterly ridiculous to you or me means nothing to the dog. What matters to the dog is the type of relationship their owner forges with them. So I have no opinion on how they name their dog as long as their dogs are happy, well cared for and healthy.
Reply:My male Cocker was named Spike Lee My female was named Jade Flower after a specific firework.





Its not like we are talking a kid here. Look at celebs - Apple, Rocket, Jermajesty, Kal-el %26lt; Nicolas Cage, etc. Hell in China there are hundred of kids being named what translate to Olympics Games this year. Dog names are nothing compared to what parents come up with.
Reply:Well to be honest I think it's a lot more creative then the ubiquitous Buddy, Spike, Killer etc. One of mine is named after a city and the other is a people name.
Reply:Well, almost all of my pets are have people names. Not named after specific people, though. I think it's cute.

Reply:nothing wrong with it. my puppy is named joey and normal guys are named joey too. to each his own...it's a pet name...
